we had a date!!

two babies who came so early in our marriage, and the fact that we didn't really "date" much before getting married- well, we have had not so many dates over the life of our relationship-

BUT, Tye surprised me on Thursday with a call that went like this,

"Hey baby, can you be ready to go in like 30 minutes?"

me "Ummmm... well, it depends on who is going and where we have to be- there are three of us i have to get ready here."

"well, just you, and we are going out... i am picking up the baby sitter now, and we will be there in 30 minutes... i want some time with my wife."

me- jaw on floor- "wow- yep, i can be ready

we went to texas roadhouse- YUMMY- and then got drinks at starbucks and talked.  we needed it so much.
